School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Playgroup:
Date: Every Tuesday from 18 August (Term 3 & 4)
Times: 9.00am–10.00am

We are excited to welcome our new Kindergarten families to the Nareena Hills Public School community! Our Orientation sessions and weekly Playgroup are a wonderful opportunity for children to meet teachers, make new friends, explore the school environment and begin their journey into school with confidence.

Stage 3 Berry Sport & Rec Camp 🏕️

Date: Monday 21 September - Wednesday 23 September

Our Stage 3 students are looking forward to an exciting Sport & Recreation Camp in Berry! Students will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of outdoor activities, build teamwork and friendships, develop new skills and create lasting memories with their classmates.

We can’t wait for an action-packed camp filled with fun, adventure and plenty of great memories! 🌿🏃‍♀️🏕️

Stage 2 Sydney Excursion

Date: Wednesday 28 October

Dirt Detectives – The Rocks

Students will become archaeologists for the day, excavating artefacts from an indoor archaeological dig. They will use clues and investigative skills to uncover what life was really like for convicts living in The Rocks during the early years of the colony. Students will explore the experiences of convicts and develop their understanding of Sydney's early colonial history

Double Dragons – Chinatown
Students will explore Sydney's Chinatown and learn about Chinese-Australian culture and history. They will discover why Chinese people first came to Australia, how Chinese communities have developed over time, and the important contributions they have made to Australian society and identity.
